In the male dominated sport of Formula 1 racing, Samantha ‘Sam’ Dupree is struggling to make her mark against the boys. She hears about a driver who is making a name for herself in NASCAR and goes to check her out. Little does she know that she’s in for the race of her heart. Addison McCloud wants nothing more than to drive. She doesn’t care about fame or fortune; she just wants to be fast enough to get herself and her family away from her abusive father. Meeting Sam, changes her world and revs her life into overdrive. When the two women meet, sparks flies like the race cars that they drive. Will they be able to steer their relationship into something more and win the race, or will their families make them crash and burn. The boys of Formula 1 are going to learn that Southern girls are a force to be reckoned with.

There was so much unrealized potential. The characters were interesting and the story had me hooked, but...
The yoyo POV with every paragraph having the potential for a different POV was annoying and constantly referring to the characters as 'the blonde' or 'the red head' got weird after a while.
It's hard to imagine that an agent or editor would let that get by when a simple switch to a more standard POV could have turned this into a heck of a book.

This story started off well but after reading each chapter the common theme of the two main characters was that they had a lot of sex. It lost it's substance and there were only few instances of car racing. I understand they loved each other, but when that is all they are doing it stops being sexy and interesting and becomes just repetitive.
I enjoyed this book
Another great read. I couldn't seem to put this book down and I hate to say it, but it leaves wanting more 😜. Definitely wish there was a second 😁
Great story and characters. Very well written. I didn't want it to end. Highly recommend
I though is was a good book! I liked the two main characters and the storyline.
I really enjoyed this story! The characters development was very well done. The racing scenes were really good and quite exciting.n the romance development was sweet and enjoyable.n well done!
The book started out great but then some things never quite panned out for me. Sam presented s very business savvy and tough in the beginning which was awesome. I liked the little tussle she got into and I liked how strong she was. I liked how confident Addi appeared at first as well. At some point though, it changed. Physical abuse? Fine. But the situation with the tabloids. Just seemed contrived and was too easily disproven. Sam appeared determined to dump Addi sure to the dream in the hospital but that just disappeared after Nick said something. I felt like that piece took up more pages than it needed to because a few pages later they were engaged. Explain why Addi's virginity kept coming up and it appeared to be on the table for everyone to discuss. Sam was supposed to be this misunderstood woman but the scene with Becca wasn't a misunderstanding. She had an arrangement with the hotel because numerous woman tore up the rooms after she broke up with them, but she was misunderstood and vulnerable? Huh? A lot of contradictions and some things were never quite fleshed out. Also, it became way too sappy. I mean we get it. They live each other. Then Sam wanted her to retire from racing. After three years? Nick always in their business for some reason. Just frustrating. Otherwise, I enjoyed it. Lol
